Footy Fever

Today we had a gathering at our house to watch the Australian Rules Football final, Geelong Vs Port Adelaid. Friends came with their projector and big screen, about 25 of us squished into our lounge, and we watched the game in style. Geelong won by a mile, and i am told played the best footy ever! (- my hubby is a big fan).
A great afternoon of entertainment!

Hi to the Wilsons from Emmanuel Clermiston, Edinburgh

Glad you've been enjoying the footie - we've been enjoying the Rugby World Cup - scotland got to the quarter finals which for us was brilliant - England beating Australia was a phenomenal game - so we too have getting into our sport.

In the faith we continue our series on the letters of John and are asking the question: 'What is genuine Christianity?' - People have been encouraged and are growing. At present we are working hard to try to amke our Strategy for growth to come to life, having set up three focus areas for ministry - building fellowship, growing friendships and making disciples. having a focus has really been exsciting with almost everyone in the congregation involved at some level with the Strategy!

Hope you are well and please be assured that we pray for you regularly, asking God to grant you health, safety and joy as you serve him with MAF.

Life as disciples of Christ, fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith. Psalm 32:10
